You can browse movies along a timeline to determine the types of movies produced in a given time period. You can't specify which movies are displayed on the timeline. However, the movies shown on the timeline are typically the more popular or noteworthy movies of the respective period.

You can also filter the movies displayed on the timeline according to genre and Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA).

Note: You can right-click a movie title to display information about it.

<B><I>To display information about a movie using the Main Browser: </I></B>
Click the movie title on the timeline.

<B><I>To change the duration of the timeline: </I></B>
<B>1.</B> Position your cursor over the bar at one of the ends of the ruler.
<B>2.</B> When the cursor changes to a two-headed arrow, drag it to the new location.
<B>3.</B> Repeat steps one and two for the bar at the other end of the ruler.

<B><I>To move the range of the timeline: </I></B>
<B>1.</B> Position your cursor over the highlighted area of the ruler.
<B>2.</B> When the cursor changes to a hand, drag the highlighted area to the new location.

<B><I>To filter the movies included in the timeline: </I></B>
Use the Genre and MPAA buttons to define the criteria filters.
